The Kingsbury Lawn Care Team
No small business can excel without a leading team. Our lawn care team have previous experience in a range of sports turf settings, or have received extensive lawn care training, both in-house and in a range of other settings.
Our technicians each hold PA1+6 qualifications as standard, and we're proud to be a customer obsessed team who take great pride in what we do.
Jack Chapman
Founder
Jack is the founder of KLC. He holds a Diploma in Turf Surface Management along with 15 years experience in lawn care, including work on both professional cricket pitches and bowling greens.
Through our involvement with the UK Lawn Care Association since 2015, Jack enjoys learning from fellow lawn care businesses along with sharing his passion for lawns and small business with those new to the industry.
In his spare time, Jack is a cricket fan and plays for Ambleside CC, Nuneaton. He is a keen runner having ran two marathons, including London Marathon for CRUK in 2022, and with further marathons planned! Jack lives near Tamworth with his long-term partner Rachael.
Stan Wallis
Lead Lawn Technician
Stan joined us at the start of 2021 bringing with him vast knowledge and experience from all manner of turf care settings. Stan holds a Foundation Degree in Sportsturf Science and Management, along with a Diploma in Horticulture. He joined us following a number of years in professional football, most recently as head groundsman of a local football league club.
In his spare time Stan is a big sports fan himself with keen interests in football and golf, however with two children since 2022 now his hands full with Daddy duties for a while!
Mark Walker
Senior Lawn Technician
Mark joined us as a lawn technician in summer 2022, completing his first renovation season and undertaking his NPTC PA1+6 qualifications in October. He joins us from Autoglass where he was a Master Technician, as well as having plenty of experience in previous customer service roles.
In his spare time Mark enjoys mountain biking and going for walks with his sausage dog, Merlin. Family time is also very important as in late 2023 Mark and his wife recently welcomed a baby girl!
Olivia Redfern
Business Support Manager
Olivia joined us as our Business Support Manager in summer 2023. She recently graduated with a degree in English Literature, and has previously worked in Business Support at West Midlands Police.
With her choice of degree in mind, it will come as no surprise that Olivia loves reading in her spare time. She also enjoys going to the gym, and travelling to new countries with her parents and boyfriend.
Matt Abbiss
Lawn Technician
Matt joined us in summer 2024 with 10 years of experience of looking after his own garden maintenance round near Wolverhampton.
Matt is thriving in our environment having already completed his NPTC qualifications in July 2024 and experiencing autumn lawn renovation season with us. His enthusiasm for the role is second to none.
Matt's priorities at home are his partner and young daughter, along with being passionate about his football as a (very) keen Wolverhampton supporter (someone has to do it!).
Paul Hackett
Lawn Technician
Paul joined us in autumn 2024 following a very successful corporate career and more recently with an online retailer.
Paul completed his NPTC qualifications in November 2024 and was quick to settle into the team - quickly adding value to our service for our customers. He loves what Kingsbury Lawn Care stands for and wants to see this small business thrive.
Paul is planning on moving to Leamington Spa in the coming months with his partner. With that we're looking forward to him becoming our rock star lawn technician for our southern postcodes!
