There have been two customer feedback markers that we have put down this month - and both are so good that they need to be shared!

It's easy for a lawn service to trumpet their services, but it is far better if that feedback comes from it's customers. I'm incredibly proud of what we stand for, and the home owners that we have been able to help in recent years.

Lawn Services Google Review Milestone Achieved! 


Feedback from our customers is vital as a small lawn care service. We don't have an unlimited budget to educate on the benefits of having a professional lawn care service, so when our customers feel strongly enough to share their thoughts with the online world we are incredibly grateful.

To have made it to 200 Google reviews and counting this month is a brilliant achievement for just a small team. We are all about making an impact with our customers and volume alone (just a stack of 5 star ratings) isn't what this is about. The warm comments from those that use our lawn services, praising my team, how they put themselves across, how they have their interests at heart, and the results they have seen are simply heart-warming as a small service-provider. 

These 200+ reviews aren't even everything. When you roll together feedback on Trustpilot, Yell, Bark, Google, and submissions into our website testimonials, there are over 350 customers who have taken the time to share their genuine experience. To then have an average rating of 4.9 is brilliant and shows that ours are genuine customers*.

*I get emails most days offering to sell us fake reviews!

Lawn Services Internal Customer Survey... The Results Are In! 

Twice a year we email all of our customers a short survey to see what we are doing well, what we could improve, and any ideas that our customers have for our lawn service. Not only do we get this together twice a year, but we read every response and take action on the things that we can control. We couldn't claim that we are a customer-centric, continuously improving lawn service without doing so! 

Within this survey is a 'Net Promoter Score' style question asking the respondent to rate out of 10 how likely they are to recommend our lawn service to a friend...

In March 2024, we gained an average score of 9.2 out of 10

In November 2024, that average score was a huge 9.5 out of 10

This sets a steep benchmark for next year and beyond to surpass! 

In recent years, we embarked on a video testimonials project with the aim of putting some faces and lawns to the names of those who has already been so kind as to review us online. A number of our long-standing customers were up for this and to this day I am incredibly grateful of their help and brilliant insights as to how we go about things at Kingsbury Lawn Care. 

What Do Our Team Think of Kingsbury Lawn Care? 

I don't believe that is it possible as a small lawn care service to deliver such high customer satisfaction over a period of time without a happy and motivated team. My team get mentioned time and time again by our customers if that be in passing emails or within reviews about how well they are being looked after - it is amazing to hear! 

But, what do the team make of Kingsbury Lawn Care?

The feedback they have left on our Indeed jobs page is a further feather in our cap. To say that we're a 5 star employer is amazing - but, again, it is the comments behind the rating about the positive working environment we are creating that give the true insight into what is important.

Where to Next? 

These data points are always nice to celebrate (and so they should be!). However, there is a lot to be done and achieved from here. 

This autumn / winter is seeing three new lawn care superstars joining our ranks in preparation for a busy 2025. We don't consider this team expansion at the last minute - we have extensive recruitment, onboarding and training to work through to be sure that our standards only ever increase with new skills and ideas flowing into the team. 

Team building and current customers are our focus to be sure we can be the very best versions of ourselves in 2025 and beyond. We not allowing these customer satisfaction scores and 4.9 average review rating to be a short-term thing!
