Jack has looked after our back lawn for 2 seasons after franchise operator let me down. I thought at first they might be a little expensive, but liked the idea of genuine local operator. They have done a really good job on poor quality turf, and at times this summer, the lawn has looked fantastic. I have had no hesitation in recommending them to neighbours who were in the same boat as me!!!
After poor experiences with several franchised lawn care firms, we discovered Kingsbury, a local independent, and have been using them for a year. Jack works amazingly hard and clearly takes pride in his work (his scarifying of our lawn involved about 15 passes, not the 2 or 3 others have been satisfied with!) Highly recommended for treatments and full renovations.
This is a company to be highly recommended. Jack and Pete have cared for and improved my grass over the past 4 years to the point where it is the envy of my family and neighbours. It is not just the physical side of their work, they always have time to discuss what needs to be done and together with the newsletter advice is always there, especially during extreme weather conditions.
We have used Jack and Pete for about 2 years now - following about a year with another provider. The difference is they actually care about whether the lawn looks nice.....and don’t just turn up, throw some fertiliser down and go away. Lovely to see a small local business doing such a professional job. My personal experience is we are much happier than when we used one of the big franchises.
Having used Greensleeves for a number of years and being let down by communication and not turning up, I was recommended to try Kingsbury Lawn Care by my neighbour. I contacted them and they came out immediately to give me a quote as both lawns were looking quite desperate. Having used them for 1 year they have completely transformed both lawns for which I receive many excellent comments from neighbours and people passing by. There are another 5 neighbours all using them now and I have no hesitation in recommending Kingsbury Lawn Care. Keep up the good work.
